Greg began his career in Human Resources in 2000 as a Manpower & Personnel Officer in the United States Air Force. There he led the industrial engineering, performance management, disciplinary, officer and enlisted promotions, training, safety, and performance measurement programs for the single largest squadron in the Air Force.
Greg arrived in 2007 in the City of Columbus Department of Finance and Management where he managed performance measurement programs and conducted efficiency studies for four departments. In 2011, he moved to the Department of Human Resources as the Compensation Manager where he is responsible for developing and maintaining 10 pay plans serving six collective bargaining units and four salaried employee groups, in addition to managing the performance management programs and all issues regarding employee compensation.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from The Ohio State University, a Master of Arts in Liberal Arts and a Master of Science in Management from Ohio Dominican University, where he also serves as an adjunct professor of English. Greg is a Certified Compensation Professional and is Past President and board member of the Columbus Compensation Association.
In his free time, Greg enjoys writing and reading fiction, carpentry, antique tractors, playing sports, and restoring his 1895 farmhouse and barn with his lovely wife Wendy and their two children, Emily and Henry. Greg has been a member of the Belle Center United Presbyterian Church in Logan County, Ohio for more than 40 years, where he currently serves as a deacon.
